Device Management
Manage time tracking terminals under Settings > Attendance & Absence > Attendance > Device Management. Terminals are tablets or other internet-capable devices where employees can clock in and out using their personal PIN.
The overview shows all registered devices with their name, coupling status, and when they were last used. Each device has a 9-digit coupling code for connecting with the terminal app.
Setting Up a Terminal
To set up a new terminal, download the Emplovia Terminal App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and install it on your device. Then add a new device in the settings by entering a device name and selecting the timezone. Use the displayed coupling code to connect the app with the system. After successful coupling, the terminal is ready for use.
Bookings made via terminals automatically receive the identifier "Terminal Booking" and require a stable internet connection for synchronization.
Employee Identification
Each employee identifies themselves at the terminal using a personal PIN or QR code, which can be found in their own account settings under the time tracking menu. Employees should keep their PIN confidential.
