Overview
The data import allows you to quickly transfer large amounts of data into the system — particularly useful during initial setup or when migrating from another system. Navigate to General > Data > Imports in the sidebar to access the import function.
Data import is only available with a paid subscription.
You can import the following data types: Departments, Teams, Locations, Positions, Attendance, Absences, and Cost Centers.
Import Process
Select the desired data type, download the corresponding Excel template, fill it in with your data, and upload the completed file. Always use the provided template and do not change column labels or the template structure. For large imports, it is recommended to first run a test with a few records to ensure the data is correctly formatted.
After Import
Once imported, data can only be undone manually — check your data carefully before importing. After a successful import, spot-check the imported records and verify that relationships (e.g., employees to departments) and calculations (e.g., vacation balances) are correct.
