Account Settings
This article explains how to manage your personal profile, settings, and security options.
Profile Overview
Your profile page shows your key information at a glance: your department, location with local time, and your skills. Colleagues can also see your email address and contact you directly from your profile.
Personal Information
In the account settings, you can update your personal information such as contact details, profile picture, and status message. A status message (e.g., "On vacation") is visible to all colleagues in the company. Which fields you can edit depends on the permissions configured by your administrator.
Skills
You can add skills to your profile to make your expertise visible across the company. Skills help colleagues find the right contact person for a specific topic. In the global search, there is a skill mode (flame icon) that allows anyone in the company to search for a particular skill and see which people have it listed.
Adding skills is voluntary. If you don't add any, no skill information is displayed on your profile.
Language & Timezone
You can set your preferred language (German or English) and timezone. The timezone setting ensures that all times in the system are displayed correctly for your location.
Security
The security section provides the following options:
- Two-factor authentication – Protect your account with an additional security layer using authenticator apps such as Google Authenticator or Authy. You can enable or disable 2FA here.
- Active sessions – View your currently active login sessions across different devices, including browser, location, login time, and expiration date.
- Password – Change your password or request a password reset via email.
